The University of Wolverhampton has been named University of the Year at the Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards, recognising its outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion in apprenticeship education.
The accolade was announced at the 10th annual Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards, held on Friday 7 November at the Hilton London Metropole. The event welcomed over 700 guests, celebrating a decade of championing apprenticeships and inclusive learning.
Since its inception in 2015, the awards have engaged more than 3,000 apprentices, 500 employers, and 100 learning providers, driving transformation across every major sector. Wolverhampton’s recognition follows its appointment as a patron of the Multicultural Apprenticeship and Skills Alliance in 2024, cementing its leadership in widening participation and promoting equality across all apprenticeship programmes.
