Today we had the pleasure of sponsoring The Creative Chain as they hosted an interview with internet cooking sensation Mitch Lane – better known as MealsbyMitch, Britain’s latest culinary hit.
Mitch gave us an insight into how he wants to share his passion for creative, budget cookery with the world using ingredients that are sitting in your fridge or food cupboard.
His videos have taken the internet by storm and copies of his new book Bon Appetit are flying off the shelves faster than any other cookbook in the UK.
Mitch has also made a number of videos for families on a budget with recipes that cost under £5.00 to make.
Mitch specialises in “one-pot meals” and tries to make his recipes as accessible as possible, he also has his own unique ‘fakeaway’ take on everyone’s favourite Saturday night takeaway.
The event was overseen by our inspiring tenants Stone’s Throw Media with its co-founder, Mike Chinn, on stage hosting the Q&A’s.
Mitch is definitely one to follow – it sounds like he has more incentives to pull out of the (shopping) bag planned for the future – we wish this very down to earth guy the best of luck!
