MANAGEMENT TEAM

Our management team comprises:

Dr. Martin Bucknell - Executive Director
Andrew Gilson - Operations Director
Louise Hunter - Business Incubation Manager
Peter Sadler - Site Manager

Profiles:

Martin joined the Science Park in September 2005. He has substantial experience in both technical and commercial roles during spells with BNFL and QinetiQ. He has also held senior management roles and directorships of several SMEs and worked with the Technium business incubator programme on behalf of the Welsh Development Agency. Following an MBA from Manchester Business School he gained extensive experience in international business, exploiting R & D and developing new technology-based businesses in a range of market sectors including environment, robotics and defence.
In addition to heading the Science Park management team, his principal role at Wolverhampton is the development of the company with regard to external linkages, spin-out development and new projects.

Andrew joined the Science Park a year prior to its first phase opening in 1995. His focus is on marketing and operational matters. Andrew holds an MBA and other technical qualifications.  His prior career includes several years as a director of a surface treatment company and is also former chairman of Wolverhampton City Marketing Partnership - a joint public and private sector partnership committed to promoting and enhancing the City of Wolverhampton as a leading centre for industry, commerce and tourism.

Peter joined the Science Park team in 1996 and brought extensive experience in facilities management and customer support gained as a Customer Services Manager in the electrical supply industry. Peter's role encompasses all matters of day-to-day premises and services management including security and Health & Safety.
